Bruin Lake

Bruin Lake is part of the Portage Creek system, providing access to six other lakes in the chain: head upstream to access Watson, Patterson, and Woodburn lakes and head downstream to access Halfmoon, Blind, and Hi-land lakes. The Woodlands sits on over 1,000 feet of lake frontage directly across from Pinckney State Recreation Area's Bruin Lake Campground and connects to 3 trail-heads that take you onto 12,000 acres of State Land and over 50 miles of singletrack trails for hiking, mountain biking and cross-country skiing.
